Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef/Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a hands-on approach to food preparation, team management, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and service. The Head Chef/Manager will play a vital role in maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for quality, innovation, and hospitality excellence.

Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food production
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to recipes and standards
Manage daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols
Develop menu items in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating innovative dishes that meet customer preferences and industry trends
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe dining environment
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, service standards, and safety procedures
Monitor customer feedback to improve service quality and address any issues promptly
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving experiences for guests
Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and professional growth

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling best practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Extensive restaurant management experience with knowledge of kitchen operations and food industry standards
Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with staff and serving guests
Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development
Experience in hospitality environments with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
