Source Machine is a growing API Q1 and ISO 9001 certified precision machining company based in Edmonton, Alberta. We specialize in high precision CNC manufacturing for the oil and gas, mining, energy, and industrial sectors. We operate a modern 30,000 sq. ft. facility with advanced CNC equipment and a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
We are currently looking for experienced CNC Milling Machinists from Ontario who are interested in relocating or working in Alberta.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on role for skilled machinists capable of performing complete machine setups, editing programs, troubleshooting jobs, and supporting production in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Candidates must be confident working independently and have strong experience with CNC milling operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years CNC milling experience
- Strong setup experience on CNC milling machines
- Experience editing and troubleshooting G-code programs
- Mazatrol experience is considered a strong asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and inspection drawings
- Experience with tight tolerance machining
- Strong tooling and workholding knowledge
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Must have a valid work permit or legal authorization to work in Alberta, Canada
Responsibilities
- Complete full machine setups from start to finish
- Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs
- Optimize tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining processes
- Perform first off inspections and maintain quality standards
- Work closely with programmers, leads, and operators
- Maintain production efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Keep work areas clean and organized
