Construction Laborer – Wildawbren Construction

Job Overview

Wildawbren Construction is seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This position involves assisting with a wide range of residential and light commercial construction projects, from site preparation to finishing stages. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-minded, reliable, and eager to learn. This role offers hands-on experience, steady work, and the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced and professional construction company.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment
Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing tools, and setting up work areas
Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, digging, and material handling
Support carpenters, equipment operators, and other skilled trades as needed
Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
Maintain a clean and safe job site, including daily site cleanup
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Help ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards

Requirements

Previous construction or manual labor experience is an asset but not required
Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic understanding of construction site safety (or willingness to learn)
Must be at least 18 years of age
