Full job description

The Rope Loft is looking for a friendly and reliable Bartender to join our team in Chester, Nova Scotia. We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing great service while preparing quality drinks for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service practices
Assist with bar setup, stocking, and closing duties
Help coordinate reservations
Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff during busy service

Requirements:

Previous bartending or bar service experience is an asset
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during peak summer season
