Full job description

Rosenau Transport Ltd is looking for an Eager and Diverse individual to work as Swamper Driver and help as required on our Dock floor.

Must have reliable transportation as there is limited bus service for this location.

Must have valid Class #5, current abstract and 2 years experience

The successful applicant will be:

Strong team player with helpful attitude
Responsible for coordinating and completing the timely movement of trailers at the terminal
Responsible to ensure yard is clean and operate all equipment in a safe manner

Specific Responsibilities:

Drive swampers from job site to job site in a ½ ton truck
Report damage to Dispatch/Operations Manager and Shop Manager, and Dock Supervisors.
Comply with Clear Language regulations
Observe all company rules, policies and procedures with regards to quality control, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.
Keep a positive attitude for customers and peers on the dock AND IN THE FIELD.
Observe all company rules, policies and procedures with regards to quality control, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.
Perform sundry duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Wearing of job specific PPE
Advise dispatch of all incidents and injuries immediately.
