Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior HVAC Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will lead complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system repairs and installations, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency across various facilities. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on experience will drive maintenance excellence, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement innovative solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your advanced skills in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair while contributing to a safe, comfortable environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including central air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation systems.
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately perform installations and repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to maximize system longevity and efficiency.
Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, such as pipe fitting and leak repairs.
Utilize welding skills for fabrication or repair of metal components within HVAC equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using detailed schematics and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes swiftly.
Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting all work performed for compliance and future reference.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC mechanic or technician with a strong background in mechanical systems maintenance.
Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, appliance repair, welding techniques, and schematics interpretation.
Demonstrated ability to work with complex mechanical components and construction environments.
Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in maintenance tasks involving plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance troubleshooting.
Ability to read technical schematics accurately and apply them during repairs or installations.
Prior experience working with construction projects or large-scale facility maintenance is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions promptly.
