Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team working Saturdays. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong communication and sales skills in a dynamic retail environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are a plus, helping to enhance customer engagement and sales performance. Must have flexible schedule and work weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases efficiently
Operate POS systems accurately to process transactions, returns, and exchanges
Handle cash and credit payments with precision and security
Provide product information, conduct product demos when necessary, and upsell items to maximize sales
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is clean and welcoming
Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising tasks
Uphold store policies on cash handling, security procedures, and customer service standards

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Experience with POS systems and retail sales operations
Excellent organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
Knowledge of merchandising principles and product presentation techniques
Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively to enhance sales opportunities
Professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries and customer interactions over the phone
Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and patience under pressure
Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

This position is integral to delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting the overall success of our retail operations.

Pay: $18.25 per hour
