- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic (2) – Shift is 7 days on / 7 days off at $50/hour.
Available Positions: Mackenzie BC
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic (1) – Shift is 7 days on / 7 days off at $50/hour.
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic (1) – Shift is Monday-Friday at $50/hour.
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic on road (1) - Shift is 14 days on / 7 days off at $45/hour.
- Red Seal Automotive Mechanic (2) - Shift is 7 days on / 7 days off at $45/hour.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty equipment and trucks.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing.
- Repair and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brakes, drivetrains, and related components.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service information.
- Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and maintenance records.
- Respond to field service calls in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
- Identify potential equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain service truck inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all company and industry safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers, operators, and management.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience working independently in field service environments.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and work around heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Red Seal Certificate.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and potentially physical fitness testing.
- Valid drivers licence and clean abstract.
