Administrative Support Specialist – Group BenefitsFull-Time | Work from Home

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and professional Administrative Support Specialist to join our group benefits company. This is a full-time, work-from-home position ideal for someone with excellent communication skills who is comfortable supporting clients and colleagues by telephone, email, and computer.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally
Respond to client and colleague inquiries by phone and email
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team
Enter, update, and maintain accurate client information
Use a customer relationship management (CRM) system to manage records, activities, and follow-ups
Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents
Organize electronic files and maintain accurate records
Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and general office administration
Handle confidential personal and insurance information with discretion

Required Qualifications

Excellent telephone manner and verbal communication skills
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook
General knowledge of CRM systems and their day-to-day use
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with limited supervision
Professional, reliable, and focused on providing excellent client service
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace

Additional Assets

The following experience would be considered an asset:

Previous administrative experience with an insurance company, brokerage, or benefits-related organization
Knowledge of group benefits, life insurance, disability insurance, or personal insurance
Experience working with insurance carriers, advisors, employers, or plan members
Familiarity with insurance terminology, applications, claims, or policy administration

Compensation will be based on the successful candidate’s skills, relevant experience, and employment history
