SOUTH ABBOTSFORD CHURCH
Communications & Ministry Support Coordinator
Role Summary
This is a hands-on role for someone with real aptitude and drive who wants to grow. Across a focused season of congregational giving and ministry initiatives, you'll help create content across our digital channels, support the behind-the-scenes work of a church-wide giving initiative, and take on the varied tasks that help our team carry this season well. While the role centres on the giving initiative, it also exists to create capacity across our team — which means lending support wherever it's most needed. It's a role for someone who learns fast, leans in wherever they're needed, and takes ownership without waiting to be asked — and who wants to come away with a genuinely broad set of skills in communications, church operations, and everything in between.

- Build and send email campaigns
- Draft and prepare communications content, including email copy and video scripts

- Respond to day-to-day needs as they arise, helping things run smoothly across the church
- Take on additional tasks and short projects as assigned
Growth & Support
This role is supported through regular direction and mentorship from the supervisor, developing skills across communications and church operations. While this is a defined contract, we see it as a season that could equip someone well for future ministry or communications roles — and it may open possibilities as we consider our team’s needs going forward.
