Westcan Manufacturing is a Canadian manufacturer of premium aftermarket automotive accessories. We design, manufacture, and distribute our own product line to distributors, fleet upfitters, and automotive installers throughout North America.

About the Role

This position combines inventory management, customer service, and logistics support into one dynamic role. While inventory management is the primary responsibility, you will also assist customers, support shipping operations, and work closely with multiple departments to ensure our products move efficiently from production to our customers.

ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
Analyze inventory trends to help prevent shortages and minimize excess inventory.
Assist with inventory planning and replenishment.
Maintain organized inventory and accurate data within our ERP system.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Customer Service

Answer incoming phone calls and emails from customers.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Learn our product line and confidently assist customers with product selection and questions.
Resolve customer inquiries professionally and positively.
Build strong relationships by providing outstanding customer service.

Logistics Support

Coordinate outbound shipments with freight carriers.
Prepare shipping documentation.
Track shipments and communicate delivery updates.
Assist with resolving freight and shipping issues.
Support the logistics team as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to quickly learn technical products.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to recognize inventory trends and help prevent inventory shortages or losses.
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal departments, suppliers, and customers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP software is considered an asset.
