We're Interested In You!
We are seeking a Registered Clinical Counsellor or Canadian Certified Counsellor to join our growing team on a part-time or full-time contract basis. We provide trauma-informed counselling services to a wide demographic of clients in our surrounding communities. We are looking for a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who has formal Internal Family Systems training, and/or any of the qualifications considered assets (listed below) and who has a strong working knowledge of ethics.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide trauma-informed, client-centred counselling both in-person and online.
Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
Participate in team meetings and case consultations as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including physicians and community resources, to support client care.
Timely and professional communication with our staff and clientele
Writing reports as required.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Uphold ethical and legal standards.
Support client empowerment and growth.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or related field.
Registered and in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (RCC designation) or Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association (CCC designation).
Two Years Plus of experience working with diverse populations and presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Exceptional customer service.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Committed to ongoing professional development.
Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada and legally able to work in Canada.
Considered Strong Assets:IFS Training ; Ability to work with young children 5+; Ability to work with Addictions; Trauma training; Ability to work with youth, couples, and/or families; Pain Reprocessing Therapy training; Evening and/or weekend availability; 5+ years experience providing counselling services.
