Skilled Production Labourer – Precast Formwork
Structural Precast is looking for a reliable and skilled Production Labourer to join our precast concrete team. This position is well-suited for someone with hands-on construction, carpentry, formwork, or manufacturing experience who is comfortable using tools, reading measurements, and working in a production environment.
This is not a typical site carpentry role. The main focus is building, setting up, stripping, cleaning, and maintaining forms used in precast concrete production.
Responsibilities
- Build, set up, strip, clean, and maintain precast concrete forms
- Measure, cut, assemble, and adjust wood and/or formwork materials
- Read basic drawings, measurements, and production layouts
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and accurately
- Prepare forms for concrete pours
- Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup
- Help maintain production flow in the plant
- Move materials and support yard/shop tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures and production standards
- Perform other production labour duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience with carpentry, formwork, construction, precast concrete, or production labour is preferred
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Able to follow drawings, measurements, and instructions
- Physically able to lift, carry, bend, stand, and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong attention to detail
- Safety-conscious and willing to work as part of a team
- Forklift, overhead crane, rigging, or concrete experience is an asset, but not required

You may have worked in construction, carpentry, concrete, framing, formwork, manufacturing, or another skilled labour role.
