Summary

Our Calgary-based partner is seeking a Senior Digital Solutions Specialist for a full-time contract opportunity. As a key member of the Innovation Team, you will help accelerate digital transformation through Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.

This role combines hands-on solution delivery with enterprise enablement. The successful candidate will design and build business solutions, coach and support citizen developers, establish governance standards, and drive organization-wide adoption of low-code, automation, and AI capabilities.

Serving as both a technical expert and trusted advisor, you will help employees safely and effectively leverage digital tools while ensuring solutions remain secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and support business solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Power BI.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation and AI opportunities, translating business requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions.
Act as a technical advisor to citizen developers by providing coaching, guidance, and support while promoting best practices in solution design and development.
Establish, maintain, and evolve governance standards, policies, and controls for low-code development, AI agents, automations, and self-service solutions.
Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, office hours, and enablement programs to increase adoption and strengthen digital capabilities across the organization.
Collaborate with IT teams to optimize platform environments, security, licensing, monitoring, and application lifecycle management processes.
Create, maintain, and promote reusable components, templates, standards, and documentation to improve consistency and accelerate solution delivery.
Monitor platform adoption, solution performance, and business value, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.

What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience designing and supporting business applications, automation solutions, or digital workplace technologies.
Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Copilot Studio.
Strong understanding of data governance, security controls, application lifecycle management, and solution architecture.
Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements from stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
A detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
The ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
