Reporting to the Project Engineering Superintendent, Capital Projects you will be part of the Projects Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Assist the Capital Projects Manager with the execution of the capital Projects (Electrical) portfolio;
- Collaborate and manage engineering firms to complete detailed engineering for projects;
- Participate in constructability and design reviews including drawings, P&IDs, project instructions and specifications;
- Provide technical resource to site electrical infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning;
- Provide input and support to the construction team during execution;
- Lead site-based capital projects throughout the project development process;
- In collaboration with the project sponsors, conceptual ideas, project scopes, technical feasibility reviews;
- Develop and review engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation as needed;
- Support the development of project estimates and provide technical support for the development of business cases.
- Collaborate with the procurement group to execute scopes of work, tenders, technical bid evaluations and assist with general contracts management;
- Lead the development of project schedules in alignment with the business requirements;
- In collaboration with the Projects Cost Controller, manage project costs, review actuals to date provide forecasts, cost deviation and recommend remedial actions to stay on budget.
- Interface with vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
Minimum Salary : $95,000.00 Maximum Salary : $126,000.00
