Full job description

SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable & Inventory Clerk is responsible for the accurate processing of daily financial transactions and the reconciliation of monthly inventory and purchases data. This role ensures that all payables are matched and entered correctly, inventory levels are reconciled across multiple platforms (ERP, Shopify, Uber, TouchBistro), and specialized industry reporting is completed within strict deadlines.

JOB DUTIES:

Full-Cycle AP Processing: match previous days' invoices to packing slips and enter data into ERP
Account Maintenance: monitor outstanding receipts and emails daily to ensure timely entry of new financial data
Procurement Support: monitor and order Taproom merchandise and manage the physical intake of inventory
Multi-Platform Integration: reconcile sales volumes and totals across Shopify, Uber, and TouchBistro at the end of each financial period and month end
Inventory Control: perform Taproom inventory counts, manage internal transfers, and verify warehouse inventory for anomalies (decimals/negatives)
Reporting: generate SKU by Territory reports, Sales Journals, and Volume Ledgers once periods are closed and locked
Industry specific data collection and assembly of monthly tax filings
Period-End Closing: manage "Before Period End" and "After Period Closed" checklists to ensure a clean financial cutoff
Assist Accounts Receivable as required
Basic administrative duties such as answering telephones/emails & assisting customers with Brewery related inquiries
Miscellaneous tasks to be assigned by Accounting Manager

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Self starter & problem solver
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills and a knack for numbers
Experience with Microsoft Office (must be proficient in Excel)
Customer Service & Administrative duties
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Organization and neatness
