Job Description:
As a Social Media Specialist at Canada Computers, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our website and retail stores. You will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content, manage our social media channels, and analyze performance metrics to optimize our social media efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content for all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Reddit and YouTube, etc.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns and promotions.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets.
- Engage with online communities and influencers to build brand awareness and loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in social media management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce visually appealing content.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite) and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
