Clinic Manager – Medical Aesthetics | Ajax, ON

Artisan Aesthetics is seeking an experienced, results-driven Clinic Manager to lead our Ajax location.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong balance of people leadership, sales coaching, operational execution, client experience, and financial performance. We have a strong, established team and a fast-moving business with many moving pieces — we're looking for a manager who can step confidently into this environment, establish credibility, maintain high standards, and provide the consistent leadership, coaching, and accountability required to move the clinic forward.
Just as importantly, we need a leader who understands how to balance accountability with motivation — knowing when to coach, when to challenge, when to recognize success, and how to keep a strong team engaged and performing during demanding periods.
This is not a passive management position. Our Clinic Manager must be willing to lead from the floor, coach consistently, hold people accountable, and create an environment where people are motivated to perform at their best.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of nurses, aestheticians, sales, and concierge professionals
- Set clear individual and team expectations and consistently follow through
- Hold direct reports accountable for performance, behaviour, attendance, professionalism, and results
- Have direct, respectful, and sometimes difficult conversations when expectations aren't being met
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and performance conversations
- Recognize strong performance and celebrate individual and team successes
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development
Sales Coaching & Team Development
- Provide consistent, ongoing sales training and coaching
- Develop team confidence in treatment recommendations, treatment planning, and appropriate add-ons
- Conduct regular role-playing and sales-development exercises
- Coach consultation skills, objection handling, closing, and follow-up
- Observe client interactions and provide timely, actionable feedback
- Create a sales culture that is consultative, confident, ethical, and client-focused
Revenue & Business Performance
- Own and drive daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets
- Monitor clinic performance throughout the day and take action when behind target
- Drive growth in average spend per client, treatment packages, retail, memberships, and add-ons
- Maintain a strong understanding of clinic productivity and financial performance
KPI & Performance Management
Close oversight of revenue, provider utilization, revenue per provider hour, average spend per client, consultation show/conversion rates, treatment package sales, retail sales, rebooking, client retention, membership growth, reactivation, and lead follow-up/conversion.
Client Experience
- Ensure every client receives an elevated, consistent experience
- Oversee retention, rebooking, referrals, and reviews
- Address client concerns and service recovery promptly and professionally
Clinic Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, staffing, and inventory
- Ensure company policies and operational standards are consistently followed
- Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
- Respond effectively to unexpected staffing, scheduling, or operational challenges
Marketing & Clinic Growth
- Support local marketing, community outreach, and partnership opportunities
- Collaborate with Operations and Marketing on clinic growth initiatives
Reporting & Communication
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting
- Provide clear updates on clinic performance, challenges, and opportunities
- Bring forward solutions and recommendations — not just problems
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience directly managing and developing employees, including addressing underperformance and holding direct reports accountable
- Strong sales experience with the ability to train, coach, and develop others
- Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue or sales targets
- Strong business and financial acumen; comfort working with KPIs and performance data
- Excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills
- High personal accountability, strong organization, and follow-through
- Flexible availability based on clinic needs
Previous leadership experience in medical aesthetics, luxury beauty, wellness, healthcare, hospitality, retail, or another high-performance service environment is strongly preferred. Medical aesthetics experience is an asset, but exceptional leaders from other premium, sales-driven environments are welcome to apply.
Schedule
This is a client-facing leadership role requiring flexibility, which may include a combination of weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays.
