Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will spend 50% of your time operating a forklift and the other 50% engaging with the ERP system for manual picking and systematic transactions. You will transition to using RF scanning technology. The role involves handling ingredients stored at various temperatures, requiring you to enter fridges, freezers, and warm rooms. Following a work order, you will prepare for the next day's operations, handle lifting of up to 50lbs during palletizing, and participate in shipping, receiving, and loading products onto trailers. You will work in the back warehouse, moving raw materials and finished products to shipping areas.
Responsibilities

Operate forklifts for 50% of the workday.

Essential Skills-
Forklift operation with external certification.

Work Environment
Work in a smaller facility that produces granola bars with nuts, ensuring all GMP standards are followed. The facility is clean and temperature-controlled, though it can get warm in the summer. The warehouse is attached to the production floor, requiring safety consciousness in tighter aisles. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) includes a hair net, lab coat, steel toe shoes, and no jewelry. Shift options include Days (7am – 3:30pm), Afternoons (3pm-11:30pm), and Nights (11pm – 7:30am).
