Easy Renovation is looking for a motivated Interior Designer Intern to join our growing team.
This is a full-time internship for currently enrolled students or recent graduates of university or college who study Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field and want to gain hands-on experience in residential interior design and renovation.

Role Overview
As an Interior Designer Intern, you will work alongside our design and renovation team on real residential projects. You will support different stages of the design process, from developing concepts and layouts to selecting materials, preparing design presentations, and assisting with project execution.
The role provides an opportunity to apply your knowledge in a professional environment while developing practical interior design and project coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing functional and aesthetically pleasing interior designs based on client needs and project requirements.
- Support the preparation of floor plans, layouts, design concepts, and presentations.
- Assist with creating 3D models, renderings, and other design visuals.
- Support the selection of materials, finishes, cabinetry, fixtures, and other interior elements.
- Participate in client consultations and site visits alongside the design team.
- Assist with measurements and project documentation.
- Support the preparation and presentation of design proposals.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, contractors, suppliers, and other team members throughout the renovation process.
Requirements
- Preferred location in Toronto and available for a full-time internship.
- Proficiency in design software (eg, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).
- Familiarity with Chief Architect software is an asset and will be considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of interior design principles, space planning, materials, and finishes.
- Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.
- Motivated to learn and gain practical experience in residential interior design.
- Previous professional experience is not required.
