Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Gas Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers at the gas station, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be attentive to detail, and have a proactive approach to customer service. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or cashiering are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and sales opportunities.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling vehicles efficiently using POS systems
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and product sales accurately with cash handling skills
Provide product demos and upsell additional items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories
Maintain cleanliness of the gas station area, including pumps, store shelves, and checkout counters
Manage inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed (merchandising)
Offer excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
Utilize communication skills to inform customers about promotions or new products
Operate POS systems smoothly while adhering to phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or in person
Assist in maintaining organized store displays and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Knowledge of POS systems and basic math for cash handling and transactions
Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently with good organizational skills and time management
Friendly demeanor with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
