Volunteer Competitive Boxing Coach

Schedule: Evenings & Weekends (Part-Time/Flexible)

Job Description

Scarberian Boxing Club is seeking a dedicated and passionate Volunteer Competitive Boxing Coach to assist with training amateur competitive athletes and supporting them at competitions and interclub sparring events.

This is a volunteer opportunity ideal for someone who is passionate about boxing, athlete development, youth mentorship, and being part of a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in coaching amateur competitive boxers
Supervise boxing drills, conditioning, sparring, and technical training
Corner and support athletes during competitions and interclub sparring
Transport athletes to and from events when needed
Help maintain discipline, safety, and professionalism in the gym
Positively mentor youth and young adult athletes

Requirements

Boxing experience required (competitive or coaching experience preferred)
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Passion for working with youth and developing athletes
Ability to work evenings and weekends
