Bloomsbury Kitchens and Fine Cabinetry has been in the custom cabinet manufacturing industry for over 20 years. We specialize in carrying on the English tradition of handmade furniture style cabinetry. Our team of skilled craftsmen work within our Newmarket workshop to create custom woodworking projects that are each unique. Bloomsbury is now seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher, who shares out passion for fine custom cabinetry and takes pride in this craft.
In this role, you will work with our team of Finishers and Finish Sanders to ensure every cabinet and door is painted or stained correctly, going through proper procedures and quality checks. You will be involved in the final stages of ensuring jobs are of the highest quality before they reach our clients.
Some of the Responsibilities of this Role include:
- Applying various finishes to cabinets and doors with primer, paint & stain
- Final inspecting and organizing of cabinets/components based on the job and needed work for the spray booth & flat line spray machine
- Strong knowledge of finishing processes and products
- Inspect and touch-up finished pieces before installation
- Understanding of job order and timelines, maintaining production flow
- Sanding cabinets and components between coats of primer/paint
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
