Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality meals for our guests, ensuring that all food served meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety protocols, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant or banquet environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to memorable dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in the preparation of banquet and event meals, ensuring timely delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times
Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or service staff
Assist with meal plating, garnishing, and presentation to ensure visual appeal
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent serving skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service principles is a plus
Flexibility to adapt to different meal types and service styles, including banquet events

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
