About Us:
MADROCKS BAR & GRILL is an upscale casual dining restaurant focused on delivering a bold, modern dining experience. We are launching a new menu featuring contemporary Italian-inspired cuisine, combined with premium grill selections, including steak, salmon, and chicken.

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen and bring our new menu vision to life. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating high-quality dishes, skilled in Italian-inspired cooking, and experienced in preparing premium grill items, and mordern causal gourmet dishes. Should possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food preparation, and extensive restaurant and kitchen experience. As a Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and maintain high-quality food service for our guests.

Duties

Lead kitchen operations and ensure smooth day-to-day service
Design and develop a new menu featuring steak, seafood, chicken, and Italian-inspired dishes
Prepare and present high-quality, visually appealing gourmet meals
Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
Manage inventory, food cost, and supplier relationships
Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
Serve as a leader in the kitchen, fostering teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or as a chef with supervising responsibilities
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Must have food handler certification.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Experience in hospitality settings with a focus on customer service excellence
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including inventory management and menu planning
Demonstrated skills in food presentation, serving, and maintaining high standards of quality
Previous kitchen experience in a similar setting is highly preferred

This role is ideal for passionate culinary professionals eager to lead a talented team while delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Pay: $17.60-$25.84 per hour
