Seeking a Dependable, Productive & Ethical professional to apply clinical nursing and organizational skills to clinical trials at this medical and cosmetic dermatology clinic in Toronto. This individual is public-facing and will work with patients as well as alongside the Dermatologists, Clinic Coordinator, and our Administrative team. You will be responsible for the clinical and the administrative aspects of the clinic's research trials including
- completion of feasibility questionnaires
- liaising with Sponsors and Study Monitors
- maintain clinical trials training
- oversee clinical trials training of staff
- record maintenance/ eCRF
- informed consent of participants
- preparing for and administering clinical trial visits
- preparing for site monitor visits
- proper handling of clinical trials product (IP)
This is a key position and the team member must be able to demonstrate these requirements:
· Strong verbal communication - able to explain trials plainly to patients/ general public
· Consistency & Reliability in attendance and with adherence to clinic operations
· Ability to follow instructions strictly without deviation from sponsor's protocol
· Adhere to established clinic policies
· Ability to remain calm and courteous in pressured situations and when communicating with patients
· Highly responsive to requests for updates and information from study sponsors and industry partners, including same day responses.
· Strong commitment to high quality care and customer service
· Organization, diligence and ethics when completing clinical trials with clear communication skills
· Keyboarding/ typing ability
· Active listening, effective verbal and written communication
General Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in a clinical trials setting. Preference will be given to those with Human Medical, specifically Dermatology Clinical Trials experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and G-Suite
- Post-secondary degree from an accredited educational facility
- Asset: GCP training, Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Asset: Familiarity operating portals such as Clario, Rave, MediData
Consistent Trials Duties including, but not limited to:
· Daily maintenance with responses of the research email account/ address email queries from sponsors, vendors, prospective clinical trials patients
· Alert and Support dermatologists (principal investigator and sub principal investigator), reception staff, medical aesthetician, nurse(s) wrt training, signing of documents
· Perform daily operations as per the DermAtelier on Avenue office practice manual and the Clinical Trial SOP
- complete training in clinical trials portals for current and future clinical trials
- timely consistent maintenance of clinical trials binders
- maintenance and monitoring of clinical trials equipment for calibration
- familiarity with and operation of participant registry portals
- obtaining informed consent and screening of potential study participants

Schedule: 4 days per week on-site
Payment: Hourly, $37.50 - $41 , dependent upon experience
