Opening in 1971, Promark Tool and Manufacturing Inc. started as tool and die making shop with a secondary product line of metal stamping. In the early 2000s. Promark continued to expand its services to CNC milling . Today, Promark Tool and Manufacturing Inc. creates custom metal products such as brackets, enclosures, finished assemblies, sub-assemblies, containers, housing fabrications, cases, and holders.
Due to the high demand of CNC mill machining, Promark Tool and Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a full time CNC Mill Programmer /Operator for milling machines with up to date Solid work knowledge to create tool designs
Responsibilities
- Set up, programming and operation of CNC milling machines using Mastercam program
- Design of custom parts for manufacturing using up to date SolidWorks software
- Converting SOLIDWORKS files to Mastercam programming.
- Generating fixtures required for CNC or wire cutting machines
- Wire EDM programming
- Organizing electronic files for individual jobs
- Read, review and produce technical drawings and understand geometric tolerance.
- Understand and implement manual designs and flat layout developments
Required Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on working experience( school experience doesn't count) with CNC programming for milling machines ( current)using MASTERCAM SOFTWARE
- 3+ years of hands-on working experience ( school experience doesn't count) with set up and operations of CNC machines.(current)
- 3+ years of working experience programming with Mastercam software.
- 3+ years of working experience CNC Milling Programmer/CNC Mill Operator & Tool designer with Solid work
- WORKING EXPERIENCE:
- programming with SOLIDWORKS software.(current)
- WORKING Experience with set up, programming and operation of Wire EDM is considered an asset
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Experience working with manual designs and flat layout developments.
- Thorough understanding of the manufacturing process in machining
- Proven ability managing and organizing electronic files.Education, Qualification and Computer and Technology knowledge
- Minimum of a high school diploma; post-secondary education or equivalent preferred.
- CNC Programming Certification,up to date Solid work design knowledge
- Computer Numeric Control( CNC ) machines
- Programming software
- Custom designing using SolidWorks
- Understanding and ability in manual Die design and flat layout production
- Technical trade experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
