Position Summary
We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance team at our Richmond Hill facility on the Night Shift.
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations. This role supports preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Shift Schedule:
Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Overtime as required

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, components, wiring, control panels, and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, equipment failures, and PLC-related problems.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Test, calibrate, and replace electrical components as required.
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to support reliable operations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a similar role.
- 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Electrician license considered an asset.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and electrical controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Preventative maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Available to work overtime as required.
