SUMMARY
Reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the full-cycle recruitment process by partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent aligned with business needs.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
TALENT ACQUISITION & SOURCING
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, from intake to offer acceptance.
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, internal talent pools, referrals, and other channels.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
STAKEHOLDER PARTNERSHIP
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
- Provide guidance on recruitment best practices, market insights, and candidate selection.
- Ensure a positive and consistent candidate and hiring manager experience.
RECRUITMENT OPERATIONS & COMPLIANCE
- Utilize Workday to manage requisitions, candidate workflows, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment legislation, and diversity and inclusion practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and programs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, supporting full‑cycle hiring.
- Previous experience supporting recruitment in construction, manufacturing, or a similar project‑based industry is an asset.
- Proven experience partnering with hiring managers across multiple functions and role types.
- Strong sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn, referrals, and other talent channels.
- Experience working with an ATS; Workday experience is an asset.
- Solid understanding of employment legislation and equitable hiring practices.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Compensation: $30 - $38 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
