We are currently looking for a Dispatcher to join our Concrete Team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
About the Role
As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role in coordinating daily concrete deliveries, managing customer orders, and ensuring seamless service from order to job site. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch concrete trucks efficiently across multiple locations
- Respond quickly to changing delivery demands and adjust schedules as needed
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional, responsive customer service at all times
- Take and process customer orders (phone and online platforms)
- Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication
- Identify opportunities to upsell or recommend additional products/services
- Conduct engaging and professional sales conversations over the phone
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with the team to meet sales and service targets
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, sales, or a related role
- Experience in construction or concrete industry is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and listening abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency

Working Conditions
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
- Hours:
- Tuesday–Friday: Minimum 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: Minimum 6:30 AM – 1:00 PMEnd times vary based on operational demands and final deliveries
- Weekly Hours: 35–50 hours (overtime eligible after 44 hours)
- May be required to adjust schedule to support team coverage
- Peak season (spring to fall) requires flexibility and overtimeWork Environment:
- Combination of office-based dispatching and active operational coordination
- Extended periods of sitting and computer use
- Exposure to outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, noise) when required
- Fast-paced, high-pressure environment during peak periods
Safety Requirements:
- CSA-approved safety boots required (Green triangle & white rectangle with orange omega symbol)
