Are you the kind of person who loves writing logic, troubleshooting complex systems, and seeing your code run a massive piece of machinery?
At Intricco Controls & Automation, we are looking for a hands-on controls expert. While you know your way around an electrical panel, your true passion lies in programming and bringing automated systems online.

- Hardware Integration: Read and interpret electrical schematics to seamlessly integrate your software with the physical hardware.
- Commissioning: Travel occasionally to client sites to lead system commissioning, testing, and factory acceptance tests (FAT).
- Service Support: Act as the technical expert for our service team, providing advanced troubleshooting both remotely and on-site.
- Ensure all software and safety logic complies with industry standards and the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC).
What you bring to the table:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience programming PLCs and HMIs.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics (you don't need to draw them, but you need to understand them!).
- A hands-on mentality with strong experience in machine commissioning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness for occasional travel to support service and installations.
