- Knowledge of RF (radio frequency) warehouse system
- Knowledge of relevant paperwork (customs, shipping/receiving, etc.)
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing invoices and assign trucks to routes
- Coordinate which trucks are needed for each run
- Assist in printing and preparing paperwork to load trucks.
- Coordinate with Supervisor who will be picking
- Manage and assign orders from the pick planner
- Manage planner to ensure pickers are picking efficiently throughout the building
- Manage short picks and problem solve the orders to ensure customers get product in a timely manner.
- Manage and update customer ship via’s and delivery sequence numbers as needed.
- Manage Fleet Optics system for routing of the trucks.
- Manage GPS tracking of the trucks.
- Manage requests from customers/CSR’s looking for product or ETA’s.
- Manage and update loading dock board to ensure everyone knows what doors are open.
- Assist in cycle count program.
- Assist in receiving of product into the warehouse.
- Assist in coordinating third party trucking contractors. Ensure product is picked and on the truck in a timely manner.
- Assist with the maintenance of TDG’s fleet of trucks
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and supplies by receiving, storing, delivering, and transferring in company’s ERP system
- Assist in maintaining inventory by reconciling variances, inputting data
- Assist in ensuring maximum warehouse efficiency
- Provides relevant information to the Warehouse Manager to resolve problems and identify warehouse improvements
- Drive the importance of workplace safety both morally and financially throughout the warehouse and with drivers, understand and follow applicable laws, regulations and company health and safety standards; ensure that all policies and procedures are monitored, adhered to and updated regularly to ensure compliance.
