This is an opportunity for a hands-on facilities leader to take ownership of a distinctive, high-energy hospitality property in the heart of Toronto for a 6-month contract. Blending an established building with character and history alongside newer guestrooms, systems and infrastructure, the property requires someone who understands that facilities management in hospitality is about far more than keeping equipment running. Every repair, inspection and maintenance decision has a direct impact on the guest experience, employee experience and the ability of the operation to perform at its best.
The Maintenance/Engineering Manager will lead day-to-day building operations, preventive maintenance, contractors and the facilities team while remaining actively involved in the work itself. This role is ideal for an experienced facilities professional who enjoys solving problems, understands the demands of a continuously operating hospitality environment and takes pride in maintaining spaces to a standard that guests may never notice, because everything simply works as it should.
