Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational accounting skills within a dynamic organization. The Junior Bookkeeper will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, supporting various accounting functions, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in accounting, proficiency with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Duties

Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payments.
Perform account reconciliations for bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
Support account analysis and prepare reports for management review
Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
Maintain organized files of financial documents and ensure compliance with company policies
Collaborate with senior accountants to support month-end and year-end closing procedures

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management
Ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation accurately
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good analytical skills for account analysis and report preparation
Effective communication skills for collaborating within the finance team
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

This role provides an excellent foundation for individuals interested in building a career in accounting or finance. The Junior Bookkeeper will gain hands-on experience working with essential financial processes while supporting the overall health of the organization’s financial operations

Pay: $20.00 per hour
