Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Store Manager to oversee daily store operations and lead a high-performing retail team. This role is well suited to someone who is passionate about retail leadership, creating a positive team culture, and contributing to the success of a growing Canadian company.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency, organization, and an excellent customer experience
Lead, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales associates
Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
Manage inventory including receiving shipments, replenishment, sales floor organization, and regular stock audits
Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines
Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate POS operation
Manage opening and closing procedures to maintain a secure, clean, and well-presented store
Support promotional initiatives through strong product knowledge and proactive customer engagement
Foster a collaborative, professional work environment aligned with InSchoolwear’s values

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of retail management or supervisory experience
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Solid understanding of retail operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling
Experience with POS systems and basic reporting
A proactive, solution-oriented approach
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends during peak periods
Experience in apparel or uniform retail is an asset, but not required
Welcoming qualified candidates from within Canada only

Seasonal Scheduling Expectations

InSchoolwear experiences peak business volume during the back-to-school period, particularly in August and September. Availability and scheduling flexibility during this time are important to supporting families and ensuring store success.
