Job Summary
We are currently seeking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst & Planner to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency with various financial systems and business intelligence tools, and excellent communication abilities. Bilingual proficiency in French is a plus, as well as experience with multiple ERP and accounting software platforms. This position is essential for supporting our investment strategies, budgeting processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization platforms.
- Analyze financial data from various databases including SQL, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Hyperion, and Microsoft Dynamics GP to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis activities by leveraging accounting software and ERP systems.
- Conduct research on market trends, industry benchmarks, and investment opportunities to inform strategic planning.
- Perform auditing procedures to ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing financial processes.
- Utilize VBA programming skills to automate routine tasks and enhance data analysis efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners to facilitate seamless information flow.
- Assist in the development of business intelligence dashboards that support decision-making across departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
- Proven experience with financial analysis, planning, or investment banking within a corporate or financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including advanced Excel functions such as VBA macros and data visualization techniques.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Hyperion, or Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL for data extraction and analysis; experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards; experience with accounting software is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in French or other languages are highly desirable. French is advantageous for roles involving international collaboration or client interaction.
- Excellent research capabilities combined with strong analysis skills to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Effective communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement. Experience
- (REQUIRED) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus
- Any additional experience in financial analysis within financial services or investment sector are great assets to have.
- (REQUIRED) Provide a clean background check, due to strict regulations we will verify with our third- party provider to confirm all information is genuine prior to hiring, therefore we may have to ask for additional information, we will have a form to complete for that.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and investment strategies
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and financial software tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex information clearly and concisely
- Hands-on experience building SOPs, audit frameworks, and internal controls

Pay: $68,000.00-$92,000.00 per year
