Foundry Production Worker

Job Description

Job Title: Foundry Production Worker
Company: Gamma Foundries Inc. (a Foundrion Group company)
Location: 115 Newkirk Rd, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3G4
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Summary

Gamma Foundries is seeking a Foundry Production Worker to assist with various tasks in the production and finishing process.

This is a hands-on role in a foundry environment, supporting the movement of materials and castings, equipment operation, packaging, cleaning, and general production support as required.

Key Responsibilities

Transport raw materials, castings, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment.
Verify the weight of materials and products.
Pick up castings from conveyors and place them into buggies.
Manually load and unload shotblaster machines.
Perform core knockout.
Operate the pressure tester unit.
Operate the punch press machine.
Sort, pack, crate, and package castings.
Assist machine operators and other workers when required.
Follow all safety rules and regulations at all times.
Use discretion when handling company and customer confidential information.
Meet production standards as specified in job orders and ISO documents.
Clean equipment and workstations on a daily basis.
Operate equipment in a safe manner and immediately report any equipment malfunctions.
Perform other tasks as deemed appropriate.

Ability to follow safety rules, production standards, and work instructions.
Reliable, practical, and willing to support different production tasks as required.
Able to work as part of a team and assist machine operators and other workers.
Strong attention to safety, quality, and housekeeping.
