Job Title: Molecular Distillation Technician

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Technician with general mechanical or handyman experience. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working with tools, assembling equipment, and supporting day-to-day technical operations. Formal certifications are not required, but practical experience and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Experience in the mechanical field, preferably in industrial environments.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, focusing specifically on heaters.
Assist in assembly, installation, and maintenance of equipment and system
Basic experience as a handyman, mechanic, or general laborer
Hands-on experience with heaters, pumps, and mechanical systems
Operate and safely handle common hand and power tools.
Perform basic mechanical tasks (bolting, fitting, sealing, adjustments)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory compliance in industrial settings.
Technical understanding of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Background screening:

All Candidates must have a clean criminal record. Criminal background checks will be conducted and must be provided prior to candidates start date.

Job Type: Full-time

Education/Qualifications:

Minimum bachelor degree in relevant field (Chemistry, Engineering, ect.)
Experience in the mechanical field, preferably in industrial or chemical processing environments.
Hands-on experience in GMP or cGMP manufacturing is a plus

Skills/Other Requirements:

Excellent organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A good command of English is necessary
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently, while supporting a collaborative, team-based department
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, with a positive attitude
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Must be proactive, self-disciplined, and able to demonstrate a high level of productivity
Demonstrate satisfactory work performance and attendance record
Willingness to learn with the ability to retain information quickly and apply knowledge to various scenarios

Working Conditions: This position will involve working in a production environment. Lifting requirements of about 50 lbs. Hazardous materials may be present and must be handled using established safety procedures and appropriate PPE. Working periodic weekends and/or evenings may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Scarborough, ON M1C 1E9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
