Job Description: We are now hiring a Shop Supervisor/Foreman to join our client in the transportation industry!

As a Shop Supervisor / Shop Foreman, you’ll be the key leader overseeing day‑to‑day truck repair and maintenance operations. The successful candidate brings 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in the transportation or heavy‑duty repair industry, along with strong technical expertise as a 310T Journeyperson Truck Technician or Interprovincial Red Seal Technician.

This role is perfect for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels at organization and problem‑solving, and is committed to ensuring customers stay safe and confident on the road.

Job Location: Scarborough, ON
Job Type: Full-Time, permanent.
Shift Structure: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Compensation: Starting from $40.70/hr + performance bonuses + excellent benefits + career advancement opportunities & more!

Key Responsibilities:

· Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and internal teams
· Lead daily safety meetings and champion a proactive, safety‑first workplace culture
· Oversee repair operations to ensure timely, high‑quality, and accurate work, while stepping in to assist with repairs when needed
· Train, mentor, and provide day‑to‑day leadership for all Shop Service Department employees
· Enhance the customer experience by evaluating current service processes and implementing improvements
· Communicate key service metrics and monitor overall department performance
· Review performance results and drive operational improvements based on data and insights
· Measure, track, and strengthen departmental productivity, efficiency, and overall effectiveness
· Support the Service Manager in developing and maintaining training programs for Service Department staff

Requirements/Qualifications:

310T Truck and Coach Technician License or Interprovincial Red Seal Certification
Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in the transportation industry
Strong experience as a Journeyman Truck Mechanic (Hino experience preferred)
Proven leadership, organization, and team development skills
Commitment to safety, quality service, and operational efficiency
