We’re looking for a motivated HR Administrator to join our team and support our growing organization!

Overview

The HR Administrator plays a key supporting role within the HR team, providing administrative and operational support across the full employee lifecycle. This role is heavily focused on maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR systems, and ensuring consistency across multiple platforms and locations. Working closely with the HR Manager, the HR Administrator helps ensure day-to-day HR activities run smoothly while contributing to compliance, employee experience, and a unified company culture across all Canadian locations.

Primary Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

HR Administration & Systems

Maintain accurate employee records across internal systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and consistency
Organize and maintain employee files, training records, and HR documentation
Provide daily administrative support for HR operations, including responding to employee inquiries
Support the use and upkeep of HR systems, ensuring information is current and aligned across platforms

Employee Lifecycle Support

Assist with recruitment coordination, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Prepare employee documentation and ensure a smooth transition for new hires and departures
Support group benefits administration, including enrollments and updates
Track employee development and training activities

Compliance & Policies

Support compliance with employment legislation and company policies across Canada
Maintain documentation related to policies, procedures, and progressive discipline
Help ensure consistent HR practices across all locations

Collaboration & Support

Serve as an initial point of contact for HR-related inquiries, working closely with the HR Manager to provide support and guidance as needed
Support the HR Manager in guiding managers on HR processes and best practices
Coordinate with external partners (e.g., benefits providers, legal, immigration) as required

Culture & Health & Safety

Support employee engagement initiatives, including events and social committee activities
Assist with health & safety initiatives and related recordkeeping

Qualifications & Experience

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
1–2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (co-op or internship considered)
Working knowledge of HR practices and employment standards in Canada
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), with the ability to manage and organize data effectively
Experience maintaining confidential employee information with accuracy and discretion
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, HRD365, Workday) is considered an asset
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in data and records management

Skills & Competencies

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record management
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Strong communication skills with a supportive and service-oriented approach
Comfortable working with multiple HR systems, platforms, and tools
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
