HR & Recruiting Coordinator (Part-Time, In-Person)

6E Intercultural Education — Unionville, ON

About 6E

6E is a tutoring and language education center dedicated to helping students learn and grow with confidence. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an organized, reliable HR & Recruiting Coordinator to support our hiring and people operations in person at our Unionville location.

About the Role

The HR & Recruiting Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring an efficient, well-organized hiring process. This position is responsible for coordinating recruitment, managing employment documentation, and supporting onboarding while maintaining timely communication and accurate records. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and takes ownership of the recruitment process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

● Post and manage job listings, screen applicants, and coordinate interview scheduling.

● Communicate with candidates promptly and professionally throughout the hiring process.

● Track recruitment progress and proactively follow up to ensure hiring tasks and timelines are completed.

● Manage contracts end to end — preparing, sending, tracking, and following up in a timely manner to ensure nothing is left outstanding.

● Support onboarding of new hires, including documentation and record-keeping.

● Maintain organized, accurate records of candidates, hires, and HR documentation.

● Coordinate with the director and staff to keep hiring priorities and timelines on track.

What We're Looking For

● Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

● Consistent, timely follow-through, especially on contracts and candidate communication.

● Prior experience in HR, recruiting, administration, or a coordination-heavy role is preferred.

● Clear, professional written and verbal communication.

● Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once.

● Experience using Indeed, Google Workspace, or similar recruitment and scheduling tools is an asset.

● Experience with ATS or recruitment platforms is an asset.

● Comfortable working in person at our Unionville location.

● Proficiency in Chinese and English is an asset.
