Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Insurance Brokerage Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, supporting team management, and providing exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience in office enviroment, and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience with insurance indutry using EPIC Broker Management System, Insurance company's portal and a quick computer application learner are desirable.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls
Greet and provide general assistance to visitors
Collect and distribute incoming mails, emails and faxes
Scan and distribute policies, cancellations and account statements in EPIC management system
Carry out administrative duties such as copying, scanning etc. on an as required basis.
Organize and coordinate internal and external company events
Ensure operation of equipment by coordinating preventive maintenance service calls; calling for repairs; and maintaining equipment inventories
Generate DASH and MVR reports
Upload New Business into Insurance Company’s Broker Portal, ensure standards for timeliness is met; confirm data integrity & accuracy
Follow up on Incomplete Underwriting Information with Brokers
Coordinate and complete significant special projects independently or in cooperation with other groups as directed

Preferred

Previous insurance office experience in a professional setting
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette
Speaking a second language such as Mandarin and Cantonese will be an asset
Experience with insurer portals and EPIC BMS system

Pay: $17.20-$30.09 per hour
