Full job description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and tech-savvy professional with strong Mac computer skills, experience in office and project management, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. They should be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and other interior design software, with the ability to assist in creating design drawings. A background in managing office operations, tracking project timelines, and maintaining financial records is essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are key to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities

Manage office operations and ensure smooth daily workflows.
Assist with project management, tracking timelines, and coordinating tasks.
Handle basic accounting and financial record-keeping.
Work proficiently with Mac computers for document management, scheduling, and communication.
Create and edit interior design drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant software.
Maintain organized project files and documentation.
Support the design team with research, procurement, and client coordination.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to source materials and furnishings.
Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion of all phases of the project.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts as necessary.

Skills

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Experience in vendor management to ensure quality sourcing of materials.
Familiarity with QuickBooks for basic financial tracking related to projects is a plus.
Administrative skills including filing, phone systems management, and clerical duties are essential.
A creative mindset with an eye for detail in both aesthetics and functionality of spaces.
