Onsite - Junior Developer Job Description

FINTECH Software Company looking for Junior to Mid-level C++ Developer to support key areas of our trading application. The role requires deep expertise in developing multi-threaded, multi-process systems and data science.

Responsibilities

C and C++ coding
SQL Database Reporting
Participate in code reviews
Participate in object-oriented design
Analyze and maintain existing software applications
Design highly scalable, testable code
Discover and fix programming bugs
General maintenance of existing code and environment

Minimum Qualifications

Object-oriented C and C++ development experience
Experience with OpenGL
Experience developing multi-threaded, multi-process systems
Strong logical thinking ability and math skill
Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with SQL
Experience developing cross-platform systems for Windows
Experience with encryption for communications and data-at-rest.
Experience with network communications down to socket level
Experience with Visual Studio, Gcc/G++

Technical Support Representative Level Skills and Qualifications:

Problem Solving, LAN Knowledge, Help Desk Experience, Verbal Communication, Operating Systems, Phone Skills, Customer Service, Quality Focus, Internet and PC Proficiency, Window's System Administration, Windows OS and Servers, Python, SQL and MSSQL database.

Bi-Lingual: Proficient in both Chinese and English

Starting Salary is quoted in CAD but will be paid in USD equivalent.
