Full job description

An established manufacturing facility specializing in custom kitchen cabinetry is seeking an experienced CNC Operator & Programmer to join its production team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture high-quality cabinet components.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and production specifications.
Select appropriate tooling and machine settings for efficient production.
Manufacture cabinet components with precision while meeting quality standards.
Perform first-piece inspections and conduct quality checks throughout production.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machine issues to minimize downtime.
Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues as needed.
Work closely with production and design teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Operator & Programmer in a woodworking or cabinet manufacturing environment.
Experience operating and programming 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
Strong understanding of CNC programming, woodworking machinery, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience manufacturing custom kitchen cabinets, closets, or architectural millwork.
Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance and process optimization.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Qualified candidates with experience in CNC programming and woodworking manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
