Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong time management skills, and experience in the food industry. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in team settings and enjoy delivering memorable dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment handling
Manage cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food handling procedures
Support kitchen operations during busy periods by multitasking efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, but not required
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of sanitation practices in the food industry is desirable
Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory
