Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Civil Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction projects, primarily in the oil & gas industry, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and perform a variety of manual tasks on-site. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in heavy equipment operation and mechanical tasks within a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation, including clearing and leveling ground
Support the setup and dismantling of rigging and scaffolding
Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery under supervision
Assist with the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery
Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, and material handling
Support welding activities as needed, following safety protocols
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently and safely

Experience

Prior experience in civil construction or related field is preferred but not required
Knowledge of rigging, mechanical systems, and heavy equipment operation is advantageous
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and forklift operation is a plus
Experience working in oil & gas construction environments is desirable
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift heavy loads regularly
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on-site

This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking hands-on experience in civil construction projects within the oil & gas sector. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work in outdoor environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
