Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our agricultural tourism farm. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping landscapes clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
● Water plants, flowers, and landscaped areas
● Cut grass and maintain lawns using mowing equipment
● Maintain safe, clean, and attractive grounds for guests
● Perform general landscaping and property maintenance tasks
● Assist with maintenance and care of grounds equipment
● Monitor pathways, guest areas, and outdoor spaces for safety
● Support other farm or grounds duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
● Comfortable using landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
● Experience maintaining grounds equipment is an asset
● Experience operating tractors, forklifts, and 0 turn lawnmovers is considered an asset
● Strong attention to detail and safety
● Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
● Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or farm experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods
