Overview

We are seeking a professional and experienced Leasing Agent to join our property management team in Toronto. This role is ideal for individuals with strong sales and customer service skills, leasing experience in real estate and property management. The Leasing Agent will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective tenants and owners, manage leasing inquiries, and facilitate the leasing process efficiently and professionally. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, negotiation skills, and excellent communication are valued.

Duties

Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, social media and in person, providing exceptional customer service.
Conduct property assessments with owners for leasing and property management.
Coordinate with maintenance and administrative teams to ensure properties are ready for showings and move-ins.
Conduct property tours and present features and benefits to prospective tenants.
Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements with prospective owners and tenants to secure mutually beneficial arrangements.
Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease statuses, and follow-up activities using customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants through social media online listings and community outreach.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies throughout the leasing process.

Qualifications

Previous experience in real estate leasing, property management, or sales is preferred.
Strong knowledge of property management and Residential Leasing practices and procedures is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with tenants and property owners with professional etiquette.
Proven ability in negotiation and building positive client relationships.
Experience with data entry, filing systems, and administrative tasks.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Knowledge of Toronto’s real estate market is advantageous but not required.
