Position Summary

As a Line Cook, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing and cooking high quality dishes that delight our guests. You will work in a fast paced environment, collaborating with fellow team members to ensure timely and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring that every plate is a work of art that complements the stunning waterside backdrop
Assist the sous chef and Executive chef in executing unique and mouthwatering dishes that will not only tantalize taste buds but also offer a feast for the eyes amidst the inspiring views
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following proper food handling and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality and safety standards
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, contributing to a seamless dining experience for our guests
Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and techniques, bringing fresh ideas to the table that harmonize with the natural beauty surrounding our restaurant

Requirements

Previous experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a passion for culinary arts and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences that resonate with the breathtaking waterside location
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient combinations, allowing you to create dishes that harmonize with the natural beauty of our surroundings
Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines, maintaining the highest standards even during busy periods
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, fostering a harmonious and collaborative kitchen environment that complements the serenity of the waterside setting
Comfortable lifting up 50 lbs.
Standing for extended periods during shifts
Performing repetitive tasks, bending, lighting, and stairs
